To comply with GDPR, the K-Review application allows candidates to delete their own account. An "Administrator" or a "Partner" can also decide to delete a candidate.
If the deleted user is the author of a proposal:
Since project proposals are linked to a "candidate" author, if the author is deleted, the application reassigns the orphaned project proposals to a fictitious user in the application named "Anonymous."
The "Anonymous" candidate user is present by default in the application and cannot be deleted.
If the deleted user is a participant in a proposal:
The candidates who are authors of a project can designate other candidate users as participants in their project proposal.
If a candidate user designated as a participant in one or more project proposals is deleted, they will be removed from the proposals where they were designated as participants.
